A bit of family history

My grandfather Ole Anderson sailed from Norway on the ship Romeo, part of the Wilson line, from Oslo to Kristiansund (to pick up more passengers) then on to Hull on the east coast of England, leaving Oslo on May 4, 1906, for the 42 hour sail to Hull, England, where he likely took a train across England to Liverpool to catch a ship for New York (my research continues to seek/find that ship's name, passenger lists, etc -- at least we now know it was May of 1906). At Ellis Island, he met a Lutheran minister who was sponsoring his journey and likely went by train to the Twin Cities via Chicago, and then on eventually to Battle Lake, Minnesota, where he first settled. He was 20 years old when he left Lensebraten, the family farm a bit northeast of Sarpsborg, Norway, for America. I'll be at Lensebraten next Wednesday.
