Summer and the living is easy
Ah yes, summertime. Kids are out of school now. Kristen's off work. I'm still toiling in the cubicle farm, of course, but the sunny warm days and the late light nights and the pool being open one's thoughts -- my thoughts -- aren't trending towards writing or literature or even reading. We saw Star Wars again Thursday night, both kids have been having sleep overs and then we've just an amazing amount of rain the past 36 hours and today and tomorrow we went down to a dog show in Longmont. So -- no writing. Just summer. In fact, now I'm going to go check on some bike racing reports (tomorrow is the US pro championships in Philly) and the Daphne Libre mini stage race starts in France -- Lance is back on the bike, as is Levi Leipheimer and my favorite Norwegian racer Thor Hushvod. Then it's time to watch The Prisoner. later
